Job Description
Reporting into the Director of Online & E-commerce for a leading online retailer, your primary role will be to maximise the profitability of the website.

You will provide a link between third party manufacturers, the trading/buying team, site merchandisers and the online marketing team to ensure the business is focusing on the right product lines and margins are maintained across all products. 

For example, you may identify a low margin poor selling product which is not justifying it's search marketing budget.  In this scenario your role will be to ensure that either margins are improved, marketing budget is re-channeled into a better performing line or the manufacturer contributes to the search budget for their product.

A wide ranging and versatile role requiring a commercial marketer and a great communicator.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates for this role are likely to come from an online marketing background but will have a clear understanding of the whole retail business model.  Partnership marketing or commercial business development experience is useful.  Experience from an e-commerce site, preferably a retailer is also desirable.
