Interactive Marketing Executive – Acquisitions

Responsible for managing, growing and enhancing external acquisitions within our leading interactive channel, as an Interactive Marketing Executive – Acquisitions with American Express you will also set-up and lead online marketing campaigns for consumer card products in the UK.

This is fantastic role for a finance marketing professional to work with one of the world’s leading brands, where you will manage and optimise a range of online marketing initiatives as well as one of our interactive subchannels, including media, affiliates, and search, across the entire UK portfolio. As well as planning and managing campaign budgets, you will also manage the end-to-end implementation from briefings through to going live.

• Previous experience in consumer finance marketing, with a specific focus in online marketing
• A strong understanding of consumer attitudes and online behaviours supported by in-depth knowledge of online and other interactive technologies
• A track record of implementation success
• Solid understanding of card economics and financial concepts, for example NPV and ROI
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Lotus Notes and Lotus Database software packages, with experience of Omniture Web Analytics a plus
• Strong communication skills alongside demonstrated motivation and confidence working independently
