Must admit I've had the same problem. Those courses initially don't look like they are geared for anyone at a more advanced level.
When you start looking at a more advanced level you'll find some courses costing £500 a day and they will only cover one specific topic.
If you want to know more about those courses try contacting Dave Chaffey who is on this forum as I know he has been heavily involved in arranging both the CIM and IDM courses.
